In Marietta, Ohio, a real-life version of the popular Nicholas Sparks novel, The Notebook, has been playing out between James Seevers and his wife, Jane, who is suffering from dementia. Moved by his devotion, and their upcoming 64th wedding anniversary, Comfort Keepers surprised them with a celebratory anniversary dinner.

MARIETTA, OHIO (PRWEB) March 11, 2019 - In Marietta, Ohio, a real-life version of the popular Nicholas Sparks novel, The Notebook, has been playing out for several years now. James Seevers, 87, spends as much time as he can with his 83-year-old wife, Jane, visiting her daily while she resides in a dementia care unit at the local nursing home. Moved by the husband's devotion and their upcoming 64th wedding anniversary, Joanie Yeomans, owner of the Comfort Keepers franchise location in Marietta, Ohio, contacted the brand and asked for it to honor the Seevers as part of its 20 Years, 20 Wishes celebration. The celebration is commemorating the company's 20th anniversary by granting 20 wishes to clients and caregivers across the system throughout the year.

Comfort Keepers surprised the Seevers with their 64th-anniversary dinner. When they walked into the Harmar Place Extended Care’s coffee shop had been transformed into a private dining room where there was candlelight, flowers, the couple's favorite prime rib dinner, and a pianist who played just for them. The Seevers were joined by their daughter and son-in-law, granddaughter and great-granddaughter who celebrated the event with them. The couple was surprised and overjoyed by the dinner.
