Highly-Anticipated Daphne’s Mediterranean To Open First Houston Locations In April

Grand Opening Festivities On April 19 and 26 Will Include Free Gyro Fries For All Guests

April 03, 2019 // Franchising.com // HOUSTON, Texas - Hot off the heels of its Texas debut earlier this year in Dallas and Austin, Daphne’s Mediterranean, the fresh and wholesome Greek fast casual that acquired Noon Mediterranean in late 2018, will make its foray into Houston in April with two Grand Opening celebrations. On Friday, April 19, Daphne’s will open doors at 107 Yale St #600 and celebrate with free Gyro Fries samplers for all guests from 11 am-9 pm. A week later on April 26, the location at 1600 Louetta Road in Spring, TX will have its own Grand Opening event with free Gyro Fries samplers for guests who stop by after 11 am.

“We were so pleased with the warm Texas welcome we’ve received in Dallas and Austin, and we have no doubt we’ll experience the same reception from the Houston community,” said Michael Nakhleh, President of Elite Restaurant Group, the parent company of Daphne’s Mediterranean. “The food we serve is wholesome, fresh, and ranges from the very traditional to the unique. Our Gyro Fries with our signature Fire Feta™ sauce is a crowd favorite, and show what Daphne’s is all about: serving deliciously tasting food that innovatively highlights all the Mediterranean has to offer.”

Daphne’s is a 30-year-old brand known for serving nourishing, health-focused dishes inspired by the flavors of the Mediterranean. The menu ranges from traditional entrees like hand-carved gyro, grilled seafood, and falafel to more modern day offerings like quinoa, spicy cauliflower, and the Turmeric Trio (limited time offer), all of which are made with premium, wholesome, and authentic ingredients. The Houston locations will also feature customizable Build Your Own Bowls, a new menu addition that separates the Daphne’s Mediterranean locations in Texas from those in California.

Daphne’s will operate 31 locations in California and Texas once the Houston locations are officially open, and quickly following these openings, two Southern California locations will open in San Diego and Orange County in late April and early May. The remaining Noon location in Boston will shortly follow and convert in May. Daphne’s is owned by Elite Restaurant Group, a multi-concept operator with a focus on emerging restaurant chains that also owns Slater’s 50/50 and Patxi’s Pizza.
