Taco John’s Names Barkley as New Agency of Record
April 09, 2019 // Franchising.com // Kansas City-based creative agency Barkley announced today that it has been named agency of record for quick-serve Mexican restaurant brand Taco John’s, following a competitive review process earlier this year.
Barkley will be responsible for brand strategy, integrated creative campaign development, digital/social strategy and content, media strategy and planning. Barkley is also tasked with amplifying Taco John’s new brand persona work (developed by AWC), and partnering with Taco John’s franchisees to improve the guest experience.
The pioneering 50-year-old QSR brand is the inventor of the ubiquitous ‘Taco Tuesday®’. Headquartered in Cheyenne, WY, it's one of the largest franchisors and operators of Mexican quick-service restaurants in the U.S with nearly 400 restaurants across 23 states.

The agency’s first work for the brand will launch in September.
