Pirtek Salt Lake City Wins National Award For Outstanding Performance In 2018

Pirtek USA’s annual conference recognizes top locations and franchisees, features full slate of informative sessions

April 16, 2019 // Franchising.com // Rockledge, FL, USA - Pirtek USA has presented Pirtek Salt Lake City with its 2018 National Franchise of the Year award. Owner Todd Miceli, who also owns Pirtek Clearfield in Syracuse, UT, received the award during the company’s 21st Annual Franchise Owner Conference in April. This year’s event was at the Hilton Bonnet Creek in Lake Buena Vista, FL.

“I’m so honored and I want to thank our entire team for helping us take home this award,” said Miceli, whose Service & Supply Center also won top honors among the West Coast region locations. “We have a great group of people and we couldn’t do it without them. It’s so nice to have all this hard work recognized.”

The award presentations also included the National Top Sales Award, which went to Ken Adair, owner of Pirtek O’Hare and four other Chicago-area locations. Dylan Rausch at Pirtek Madison in Madison, WI, earned Rookie of the Year honors. The Community Service Award went to the team at Pirtek Plymouth in Plymouth, MN.

The annual event features a number of informative sessions, workshops and networking opportunities for Pirtek owners from across the United States.

Pirtek is the only franchise of its kind in the United States providing hydraulic and industrial hose replacement sales and services. There are 84 Pirtek franchises and a fleet of Mobile Service Vehicles throughout the country. Globally, Pirtek has more than 400 locations and 2,000 Mobile Service Vehicles in 23 countries.

Regional winners honored at the conference included David Herbert, Southeast Region, for the outstanding performance of his Pirtek Altamonte Springs in Altamonte Springs, FL. In the Southwest, the winners were John and Alison Abercrombie, owners of Pirtek Gulfgate in Houston. Phil Kusiak and Holland Claytor, owners of Pirtek Piedmont Triad in Greensboro, NC, were the Northeast winners. The winner in the Midwest region was Tom Fechter of Pirtek Menomonee Falls in Milwaukee.

“These individuals have all contributed to the success of the Pirtek brand and we appreciate their commitment,” said Kim Gubera, CEO of Pirtek USA. “We have very talented, hard-working owners and it’s a pleasure to recognize them publicly.”

Miceli opened Pirtek Salt Lake City, a full Service & Supply Center, in 2017. A year later, he opened another location in nearby Syracuse. “Our Tier 1 in Salt Lake City did so well that we opened our second location in a large industrial park near Hill Air Force Base,” Miceli said. “That move has paid off well for us and we’re looking forward to continuing our growth here.”
