Intero Continues Great Leadership in Los Gatos Office With Hiring of Respected Trailblazer Stephen Slater

Slater Takes Helm as Previous Manager Brian Crane is Promoted to CEO.

CUPERTINO, Calif. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - April 23, 2019 - Intero, a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate and wholly owned subsidiary of HomeServices of America, Inc., is proud to announce the hiring of Stephen Slater as the Vice President and Managing Officer of the Los Gatos office.

A native of Scotland, Slater moved to Silicon Valley in 1997, while working for Hewlett Packard. During his 23-year career in technology, he also worked in numerous senior leadership roles for Agilent Technologies and Apple. In 2010, he decided to make a radical career change and form a real estate team with his wife Gail Thomson, who was already an established and successful agent. They have been key contributors to the Intero Los Gatos office ever since. In addition, Slater has actively promoted the use of technology in real estate and teaches how to provide outstanding customer service through the effective use of software tools at the Intero Academy.

Stephen and Gail live in Los Gatos with their three children. They are both very actively involved in the community through their public-school PTAs, Los Gatos Youth Theater and boys team charity, a volunteer service organization dedicated to developing an altruistic spirit in young men through active participation of parents and sons in philanthropic projects in their communities.
