Planet Smoothie Expands with Additional Franchise Agreement in Delaware

Out-of-this-World Smoothie Franchise Collaborates with Local Couple to Open Concept in Middletown

May 09, 2019 // Franchising.com // MIDDLETOWN, Del. - Planet Smoothie, a quick service smoothie franchise offering an abundance of colorful and delicious smoothie options, announced today it has signed a franchise agreement with current operators Leonard and Renee Resetar to open one location in Middletown, Del. The husband and wife duo already own one Planet Smoothie in Newark, Del. with one more in development in Rehoboth Beach, Del. The newest Planet Smoothie is expected to bring 12 new jobs to the Middletown area.

Founded in 1995 in Atlanta, Planet Smoothie has consistently proven that its menu delivers vibrant flavors and ingredients that never fail to put a smile on a customer’s face. Residents of Middletown will soon be able to experience fresh, out-of-this-world blends like the Lunar Lemonade™ and Chocolate Elvis™ with add-in boosts, such as Matcha Green Tea and Chia Seeds for an extra kick.

Prior to Planet Smoothie, both Leonard and Renee built impressive resumes with long careers in aviation, travel and finance. Both are also extremely engaged in their local community; Leonard coaches several local sports teams and Renee has served as PTA President and as a member of MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers). Their combined business backgrounds, community involvement, and devotion to satisfy Planet Smoothie guests set them up for success with their growing Planet Smoothie enterprise.
