Cap-it Hires Financial Specialist, Stephanie Ivy, as VP of Finance

Company Veteran, Darren Pritchard, Promoted to VP of Procurement

May 13, 2019 // Franchising.com // LANGLEY, BRITISH COLUMBIA - Cap-it® expands its executive ranks with the addition of Stephanie Ivy as Vice President of Finance. Stephanie will serve as the company’s first VP of Finance, leading the organization’s efforts to maximize profitability, and fund expansion of the Cap-it brand and its franchise footprint throughout North America.

Stephanie, a certified public accountant (CPA, CA), has held numerous senior positons with blue-chip organizations, including:

• A&W Food Services of Canada, Inc. – Controller – 2017-2019
• Best Buy Canada, Ltd. – Director, Controllership and Accounting – 2010-2016
• EB Games / GameStop Canada – Director of Finance – 2006-2010
• MDC Partners, Inc. – Vice President of Finance – 2000-2006

In addition, Darren Pritchard has been promoted to Vice President of Procurement. In his new position, Darren’s primary responsibility will be to manage the overall warehouse sales strategy and resources, maximizing value for the company. Darren has worked at Cap-it’s corporate offices since 2010, serving as a senior buyer and merchandiser, as well as procurement manager. Prior to joining the corporate office, he was a Cap-it store manager for five years in Langley, British Columbia.
