Nation’s Leading Mobile Screen Service Brings Convenient Home Improvement to Shawnee Mission

May 15, 2019 // // SHAWNEE, Kan. – “America’s Neighborhood Screen Store” will now “steer” Shawnee Mission in the right direction through affordable and convenient home improvement.

Screenmobile announced today that it has launched a new location based in Shawnee. The brand has disrupted the screening industry by providing a cost-effective and convenient solution for an otherwise inconvenient home and business improvement experience. Local residents will soon find out how easy home improvement can be. Screenmobile of Shawnee Mission is slated to open in April 2019 and is the first location for the brand in Kansas. It will serve homes and businesses across Johnson County as well as the Missouri side of Kansas City.

“I’m thrilled to start a new career as a Screenmobile owner and bring this unique and needed business to my community,” said Scott Werner, owner of Screenmobile of Shawnee Mission. “I am able to provide the community with a more affordable and efficient screening experience and proudly wear the Screenmobile name. Folks in Johnson County and Jackson County are in for a whole new kind of home improvement experience!”

Screenmobile’s success is rooted in its commitment to customer satisfaction. In a single visit, a Screenmobile representative arrives in uniform, then measures, manufactures, installs and tests the screens on-site. Afterwards, Screenmobile follows up with proactive communication to ensure the needs of the customer are met. This commitment to the customer resonated with Scott after working many years in customer service. Screenmobile also provides retractable screens, motorized screens, patio enclosures, pet screens/doors, swinging and sliding screen doors.

Prior to launching his new license to Shawnee, Werner worked in sales and management, developing extraordinary skills in customer service and relationship building. A wine expert, he also worked in the wine distribution space for more than a decade.

Werner, passionate about the outdoors, has lived in Shawnee for more than 20 years and is excited to work outside and with his neighbors through Screenmobile of Shawnee Mission. His wife and college aged son will help out with business.

“We are excited to be expanding into the Shawnee Mission area and look forward to driving business within the community,” said Scott Walker, President and CEO of Screenmobile. “Scott was the perfect choice to help grow the brand in Kansas because of his vast experience in customer service and management. We are thrilled to welcome Scott to the Screenmobile family.”

From its inception in 1980, Screenmobile has experienced steady growth year after year. Today, there are over 119 licenses across more than 26 states, with 10-15 additional ones in development throughout the country.

The Walker family, Monty M., Scott and Monty L., had a vision of starting a brand that capitalized on the opportunity to become the first mobile screening company. Over the years, Screenmobile has gained a loyal customer base. The brand stands apart from other screening companies due to its low overhead, quick ramp-up time and familial spirit.
