Copper Branch Coming To The International Franchise Expo In New York Next Week

The world’s largest plant-based restaurant chain will showcase its innovative and highly successful franchisee-owned QSR model at the May 30-June 1 New York City expo

May 24, 2019 // Franchising.com // Montreal, QC - Copper Branch, the largest plant-based restaurant chain in the world, is coming to the largest franchise show in the country, the annual International Franchise Expo at New York City’s Javits Center May 30-June 1, 2019.

Copper Branch is at the show and is concentrating its focus on recruiting area developers and multi-unit franchisees looking to join their rapidly expanding network in the United States, Canada and Western Europe. Company representatives will discuss franchising opportunities and how Copper Branch recently passed the 50 location mark and has plans for 200 locations by the end of 2020, all of which will be franchisee-owned. The company’s CEO, Rio Infantino, was a multi-unit Subway franchisee prior to joining the company and he foresees a similar business model for Copper Branch in the United States and the United Kingdom.

The majority of the chain’s current locations are in Canada, however they have recently expanded into Western Europe with locations in France and opened their first U.S. location in January in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and will open their first New York City location in the Greenwich Village/SOHO section of Manhattan this June. The chain is planning on expanding into California, Texas, Massachusetts, Maine, Arizona and other states across the country as well as adding locations in existing markets and is eager to expand its presence in the Tri-State area of New York. It is also focused on entering the U.K. market as well.

What sets Copper Branch apart from other quick service plant-based restaurants is its commitment to both familiar fare as well as unique global recipes that diners can only get at Copper Branch. The restaurants feature an all-day breakfast and an all-encompassing menu that includes power bowls, burgers and sandwiches, soups and chili, and power smoothies. The entire menu is whole food plant-based, with many non-GMO, organic, specialty and naturally gluten-free foods.

Although the entire Copper Branch menu is vegan, the company has found that the vast majority of its customers are not strict vegans, but rather omnivores who want to replicate the delicious foods they currently enjoy but in a healthier, more ethical way.

Through its Copper Branch Rewards loyalty program, members can not only earn loyalty points, which can add up to free and delicious menu items, but every time customers use their loyalty cards a portion is also directly donated to the Rainforest Trust, an international organization protecting our planet’s most endangered forests and animals.

Copper Branch representatives Mark Segall and Jeff Itzcovitch will be present at show booth #432.
