New National Holiday Gives Contest Winners FREE Roast Beef Sandwiches for a Year

That’s why Miller’s Roast Beef® is establishing the first National Roast Beef Day on June 12, 2019 - and throwing a party for the entire community!

The mayors of both Attleboro, Massachusetts and East Providence, Rhode Island are proclaiming June 12, 2019 (and the second Wednesday in June hereafter) as National Roast Beef Day. Radio station Hot106 will be on hand for the National Roast Beef Day Kick-Off Celebration starting at 10 a.m. at the South Attleboro Miller’s Roast Beef location, where City of Attleboro Mayor Paul Heroux will deliver his proclamation.

“We are incredibly excited to create this holiday and look forward to giving roast beef its own special day every year moving forward,” said Gwendolyn Graham, President of Miller’s Roast Beef. “We only use Certified Angus Beef® for our sandwiches; our roast beef is freshly prepared, slow roasted every day, and sliced to order. We want to share our love of high-quality roast beef with the community and spread the word about the best roast beef sandwiches in the country!”

In honor of National Roast Beef Day, the first 50 guests to line up at the South Attleboro restaurant will get the chance to win a free roast beef sandwich every day for a year. Plus, for every roast beef sandwich purchased at both restaurants in East Providence and South Attleboro on National Roast Beef Day, $1 will be given to the local chapters of the Boys and Girls Club of America. Additional prizes will be given away throughout the day at each Miller’s Roast Beef restaurant.
