Leading Hair Salon Extends Long-Standing Agreement to Provide Wider Range of Products & Services
June 12, 2019 // Franchising.com // Boca Raton, Fla. - Nikita Hair, one of Europe’s leading salon chains expanding throughout the United States through franchising, announced today it has extended its long-standing loyal partnership with Wella Corporation, a division of COTY, and leading distributor of hair and beauty products. The duo has entered into a 35-year renewed agreement to provide a wider range of products and services to Nikita Hair’s valued customers around the globe.
“We have had Wella as our main supplier in Europe for over 35 years, and for Nikita Hair, as a family owned company, loyalty is important,” said Inger Ellen Nicolaisen, Founder of Nikita Hair. “In line with our vision to create the greatest adventure in hair and beauty history, this partnership positions us for tremendous growth and stability as we expand our business in Europe, the United States, and Canada. Our business relationship with COTY is yet another step towards realizing our corporate vision.”
Nikita Hair has grown into one of the most profitable hair salon chains in the world with 150+ locations and 1,000 employees. Its proven franchise model and proprietary seven-step training process is easily replicated in the United States, where Nicolaisen sees limitless growth opportunities in the $62 billion-dollar beauty industry. The brand is gearing up to open its first franchise salon in the United States in Ohio during Q4 of this year as well as expanding its Florida presence with a new franchise location slated to open in West Boca Q1 2020.
The thriving hair salon chain offers a wide array of hair and scalp services inspired by international trends for both women and men at affordable prices. At Nikita Hair, stylists provide clients with a full assessment, and advice on products and treatments to keep their hair in the best shape. Every salon offers an exclusive line of hair and skin care products – Eleni and Chris – made with the purest ingredients sourced from Scandinavia. With Wella Corporation as key partner, the two great companies and complementing cultures, will play a critical role in growing the Nikita brand as an industry leader.
Nikita Hair is currently seeking inspired franchise partners with management experience, communication skills, and a positive, enthusiastic attitude. The company would like to work with driven individuals to expand the brand through single and multi-unit franchise agreements. Prior experience in the hair salon industry is not a requirement. As the brand continues U.S. franchise expansion plans, it aims to have 130 salons in development by 2022.
