Meineke Car Care Centers Opens New Location With Multi-Store Meineke Franchise Owners In Farmers Branch, Texas

Entrepreneurs Ben Leffell and Colin Farrell Open Their Ninth Meineke Center in Texas

June 13, 2019 // Franchising.com // CHARLOTTE - Over the past decade, Meineke Car Care Centers has evolved into a technology driven brand, with a vision and growth strategy that attracts multi-store investors new to the automotive service industry. That vision and leadership appealed to Ben Leffell and Colin Farrell, who met while attending business school at Columbia University, where they spent time studying investment opportunities. Today, Leffell and Farrell own multiple Meineke Car Care Centers across the Lone Star State.

“Neither of us come from automotive backgrounds, but we identified an opportunity in automotive repair due to a number of attractive industry metrics, and through our due diligence we determined Meineke would be the best partner to execute our investment strategy,” said Farrell.

Leffell seconded the decision to invest in Meineke Car Care Centers.

Leffell and Farrell formed Morningside Texas Holdings and acquired their first seven Meineke locations in March 2018. The Farmers Branch location is their ninth center, adding to locations in Dallas, Ft. Worth, Garland, Austin, Arlington, Lewisville, Pantego and Pflugerville, TX. They have plans to continue their growth through same store sales increases and expansion to new locations.
