Anytime Fitness’ Parent Company Hires Tammylynne Jonas As CIO

July 11, 2019 // // Effective, May 1 2019, the parent company of Anytime Fitness (Self Esteem Brands) announces the appointment of Tammylynne Jonas as CIO across all of its brands: Anytime Fitness, Basecamp Fitness and Waxing the City. Jonas reports directly to Chuck Runyon, CEO and Dave Mortonsen, President of the organization.

“We believe Tammylynne’s broad technology and leadership background will help position our brands for sustained future growth,” said Runyon. “We understand that it’s essential to meet the ever-evolving needs of our consumers’ and our franchisees’ in new and exciting ways. Tammylynne’s experience and unique skillset will help us not only meet those needs, but anticipate them.”

Jonas is an experienced digital technologist with nearly two decades of experience in customer-facing technology. Jonas had a variety of operations, strategy, technology and digital roles at Accenture and Kohl’s Department Stores.

Most recently, Jonas was the CIO for Holiday Stationstores, a $4B convenience store brand with 520 stores. In that time, Jonas also owned vendor management, technology prioritization/strategy and PMO activities for Holiday Stationstores’ global parent company, Couche-Tard.

Jonas joins Self Esteem Brands as the technology leader of development, infrastructure, security and data initiatives across the globe.

Jonas holds an Executive MBA in International Business from Marquette University, and undergraduate degrees in Mathematics, English and Spanish. Jonas sits on the Board of Directors for the Better Business Bureau of Minnesota, and the Northrop Auditorium at the University of Minnesota. She is the founding member of MN-FIT.

In 2019, Jonas was honored as a finalist for the Orbie “CIO of the Year” in the Minneapolis-St.Paul area. In 2017, she was named “Young Alumna of the Year” by Marquette University. In 2015, she was recognized as one of “40 Under 40” by the Business Journal in Milwaukee, WI.

About Basecamp Fitness

Basecamp Fitness is a high-intensity efficient workout, designed to help you discover a stronger, faster you. Each 35-minute workout focuses on interval training, rotating between an Air-bike and heart-pumping floor exercises. Supported by a trained instructor, members receive additional guidance via large instructional video screens. An optional 10 minutes at the end of each workout features a wide array of core exercises, which means participants benefit from intense cardio, strength training and abdominal training during every session.
