Children’s Lighthouse Taps Shelly Pair as Director of Operations

Fast-Growing Fort Worth-Based Early Learning School Franchise Expands Corporate Team

July 26, 2019 // Franchising.com // FORT WORTH, Texas - Children's Lighthouse Learning CentersSM, widely recognized as the leading values-based, early learning schools in the United States, announced today the appointment of Shelly Pair as Director of Operations.

Pair brings 26 years of operations, early education and franchise industry leadership experience to the fast-growing early learning school franchise. Prior to joining Children’s Lighthouse, Pair served in executive roles at two early childhood education systems and a healthcare provider. In her most recent role Pair was directly responsible for the growth and profitability of 15 dental offices. Under her leadership, annual revenue grew from $8.5 million to $22 million. Prior to joining the dental industry, Pair served as the Divisional Vice President at a Texas-based childcare provider, where she led the company’s highest net income production brand which consisted of 58 schools.

“Shelly will play a key role for our brand and our franchisees through her proven track record of driving operational efficiencies and growing profitability for franchise and childcare brands,” said Michael Brown, president of Children’s Lighthouse Learning CentersSM. “Shelly’s demonstrated expertise in management and operations is exactly what we need as we continue to grow.”

Pair’s appointment comes on the heels of monumental growth for the early learning school franchise, which opened its 50th location in Richmond, Texas in February and has 30 schools in development. Notably, the brand recently announced Chrissy Barrow as Curriculum and Training Specialist, a new role at the Children’s Lighthouse corporate office.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of the growing Children’s Lighthouse team. Values-based early education is more in-demand than ever before, and I’m excited to join the industry leader,” said Pair. “I look forward to making an important impact for our franchisees and working with the team to drive continued success in the months and years ahead.”
