Just in Time for National Waffle Day, Hampton by Hilton Cooks Up Expansive New Breakfast Menu

First upper-midscale hotel brand to serve a free hot breakfast launches new, innovative menu items and fresh design to its morning meal offering

August 20, 2019 // Franchising.com // MCLEAN, Va.- Just in time for National Waffle Day on August 24, Hampton by Hilton introduced a new breakfast experience featuring fresh, healthful and delicious offerings for guests, newly renovated breakfast areas and enhanced service across its more than 2,250 hotels in the U.S. and Canada.

As the first hotel brand in its segment to popularize the fresh baked-by-guests Belgian waffle – the centerpiece of its free, hot breakfast – Hampton’s classic Malted Vanilla waffle is now joined by four new mouthwatering flavors – including Blueberry, Chocolate, Banana Bread and Cinnamon Roll – available in regular and mini sizes on a rotating schedule. Hampton’s new breakfast also includes innovative signature items, such as Chobani® Greek yogurt smoothies, pressed juices, and egg white frittatas. Fresh takes on guest favorites – such as chicken-apple sausage links, fresh-baked Danishes and prime rib hash – round out the new menu alongside core classics like scrambled eggs, bacon, oatmeal with toppings and fresh-sliced fruit.

  • A recent consumer survey* conducted by Hilton unveiled 85 percent of Americans love a hot and savory breakfast, so Hampton by Hilton’s classic offerings like scrambled eggs and bacon alongside new egg white frittatas, chicken-apple sausage links and prime rib hash will help keep America’s favorites front and center.
  • The survey also found that nearly 80 percent of Americans crave a breakfast that satisfies their sweet tooth, which Hampton provides with its new fresh-baked Danish pastries and new flavored waffle options, now available in regular and mini sizes.
  • One-in-five Americans tend to eat breakfast on-the-go, which makes Hampton’s ready-to-go Chobani® Greek yogurt smoothies, available in Tropical Mango and Wildberry-Pomegranate, a fresh and convenient option, along with pressed juices in three delicious flavors, including Banana-Strawberry, Sweet Greens and Peach-Mango.
