StretchLab Opens Second New Jersey Location In Morristown

New Franchise Provides Members with the Benefits of Certified Flexologists™

September 10, 2019 // Franchising.com // Morristown, N.J. - StretchLab, one of the nation’s newest health-related franchises, opened its second New Jersey studio in Morristown on August 30th. The store is located at 11 Dehart Street, just off the Morristown Green.

Dave Weaving, a Chatham resident and former executive at Madison-based Realogy, is the franchise owner. His first location at 184 S. Livingston Ave. in Livingston has been open since November 2018.

“Bringing StretchLab to New Jersey has been a wonderful new chapter in my life,” said Weaving. “Seeing so many members benefit from professionally-led stretching programs has been inspiring. The comment we hear most from members is that the short and long-term benefits of working with our certified Flexologists™ are more valuable than a traditional massage.”

The store features 10 stretching benches where clients work through a highly customized stretching routine in sessions that last 25 to 50 minutes. Each Flexologist Weaving employs has completed at least 60 hours of training that includes theory and hands on work, along with learning about the muscular system, the benefits of particular stretches and how to create a custom approach to meet a client’s individual needs and concerns.

“It is incredible how our bodies need to be stretched after long days at the computer, being outside, before and after recreational sports activities or conducting our day-to-day lives,” Weaving said. “We know we should all stretch routinely, but most of us don’t. Our StretchLab programs are life changing as we help reduce muscle and joint pain while also increasing range of motion and flexibility. And it is such a relaxing environment, too.”

Weaving indicated that those new to stretching can take advantage of discounted “intro” stretches which include a 50% discount on StretchLab’s signature 50-minute stretch for just $49, a 25-minute trial for just $29 or a complimentary group session.

Monthly memberships are available as well which provide recurring discounts compared to walk in or a la carte visits. Various programs include static and dynamic stretching along with Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) in group classes. StretchLab also offers small group stretching for 3-6 participants who are guided by a Flexologist.
