Jabz Boxing Plans Six to Eight More Philadelphia Area Locations

Popular Female-Only Boxing Studio Announces Philadelphia Metro Area Expansion

September 20, 2019 // Franchising.com // PHILADELPHIA - Jabz Boxing, the empowering female-only boxing studio that features full-body, circuit-style workouts using boxing inspired exercises, announced today its strategic expansion plan for the Philadelphia metro area. The brand is set to open six to eight more locations in the surrounding counties.

“Philadelphia is a top priority for Jabz and we want to keep the momentum there strong. We already have two open locations in the area and with two more on the way, we plan on being a full force in the market,” said Kimberlee White, CEO and co-founder of Jabz Boxing, who is also a Philadelphia native. “Jabz has stayed true to its mission since the very beginning in providing an empowering boxing-based workout to women of all types that encourages them to foster a sense of community and comradery in our studio – a mission that also empowers franchisees to run a business they can feel good about.”

White, along with Jabz Boxing co-founder and president, Len Hayko, opened the first Jabz Boxing studio in 2012 in Scottsdale. The studio quickly reached maximum membership capacity, and they began franchising the concept the following year. Jabz Boxing currently has about 20 franchised studios throughout Arizona and two locations in the Philadelphia metro area – all of which are owned by former Jabz Boxing members or employees.

“We’re looking to grow the brand in Philadelphia with like-minded individuals who understand the anxiety and fears that come with getting one’s health and fitness back on track and who is equally prepared to motivate each member,” added Hayko. “As a franchisee, you’re responsible for growing a great local team of trainers, getting members on board and helping members meet, and in many cases, exceed their goals. With Philadelphia’s expansion well underway, Jabz Boxing also plans to increase its footprint across the country, entering key markets such as Las Vegas and Denver.

Jabz Boxing Hosts Franchise Showcase at Ridley Park, Pa. Location

As the brand is committed to its growth in the Philadelphia metro area, Jabz Boxing is holding a Franchise Showcase on Saturday, October 12 from 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. ET. The informational event will include an optional workout and presentation on the franchising opportunity. The Franchise Showcase intends to attract interested parties who are looking to empower others through a Jabz location.

“We’re so excited to meet the entrepreneurs interested in the Jabz opportunity and the possibility of more locations in the area,” added White. “Having that in-person meeting can make all the difference in this process as people can get a more personal feel for Jabz; we are hopeful that the attendees will be just as excited as we are to grow the brand.”

As the fitness studio concept continues to rapidly expand into key markets across the United States, Jabz Boxing is actively seeking qualified franchisees who are passionate about fitness and entrepreneurship to join its system and bring the Jabz culture of female empowerment to their local communities.
