NFL Hall of Famer’s Chain of Family Entertainment and Action Parks is Headed to Dawsonville

September 20, 2019 // Franchising.com // WARWICK, RI - Launch - a year-round, family and entertainment park co-founded by three-time Super Bowl champion and NFL Hall of Famer Ty Law - is coming to Dawsonville.

Slated to open early next year in Dawson Village at 6625 Hwy 53, the new 30,000 square foot facility will be the third Launch park in the state of Georgia. The other two are located in Cumming and Columbus.

“Launch is an innovative leader in the family entertainment industry and we couldn’t be more excited about bringing new and exciting attractions to the area,” said Corey Stalnaker, who will own and operate the new park with his wife, Christina. “Even if they’ve been to other action parks before, I think the local community will be really impressed with Launch’s setup. There’s a focus on family entertainment and fitness, and safety. We make it a really fun, cool atmosphere for everybody.”

The parents of three kids - ages 1, 3 and 8 - Corey, a Vice President of Operations in the construction management and development industry, and Christina, the Kids Pastor at Highlands Church in Cumming, wanted to invest in something that would keep kids active and entertained, while encouraging confidence, self-esteem and social skills. They found what they were looking for in Launch.

Mixing sports and entertainment, the new park in Dawsonville will feature a ninja style obstacle course, two-story TAG Active arena, laser tag arena, and full redemption video games scattered throughout the facility. The park will also include wall-to-wall, inter-connected trampolines with angled trampoline walls, as well as signature trampoline courts dedicated to dodgeball and slam dunk basketball.

Krave, an in-house restaurant concept, will allow guests to make their own pizza creations fresh to order, as well as ice cream sundaes, offering an interactive and delicious dining option.

“When open, the park will be a perfect social gathering place for birthday parties, date night, family events, corporate events, fundraisers or just friendly get-togethers in a safe and enjoyable environment,” said Christina.

According to Law, this is an incredibly exciting time for Launch, as the franchise continues to expand across the country. “Our parks are not just a business, but a space where families come together to create lasting memories. We’re thrilled to have partnered with Corey and Christina, and can’t wait for them to start creating those lasting memories in the area,” he added.

The local expansion plans come at a time when Launch continues to rapidly expand its national footprint. Today, there are 30 locations open and operating in 15 states, with just as many in various stages of development across the country.
