October 10, 2019 // Franchising.com // BOULDER, Colo. – With six locations open throughout Colorado, Rush Bowls is expanding in its home state. The fast-casual chain founded in Boulder, known for its fresh and healthy meals-in-a-bowl, is opening a new store in Broomfield, about 15 miles from the original location.

The new store, opening on October 15, is located at 12161 Sheridan Blvd in Broomfield and is owned by partnering entrepreneurial couples David and Angie Marshall and Doug and Candice Vejnar.

"We are thrilled to bring Rush Bowls to Broomfield, Colorado," said David Marshall. “We all wanted to encourage healthier lifestyles in our own families and after trying Rush Bowls we realized how delicious and convenient eating can be. We are excited for the opportunity to bring healthy eating to Broomfield.”

David Marshall has worked in commercial banking for 25 years while Doug Vejnar works in the oil and gas technology field. The pair looked into franchises individually at first but ultimately decided to partner together, alongside their wives, Angie Marshall and Candice Vejnar. After evaluating several franchise concepts, the business partners came across Rush Bowls when Marshall’s kids visited Boulder, tried the bowls and loved them.
