Executive Care Continues to Grow Across Florida
Home health care company serves seniors, disabled and recovering individuals with two new locations set to open in Palm Beach
October 15, 2019 // Franchising.com // HACKENSACK, N.J. - With an aging population that requires help with daily activities or managing health, in-home care has become a popular solution. Looking to help manage the rising demand for such services, Executive Care, one of the nation’s leading providers of skilled home health care, is opening two new locations in Palm Beach, Florida.
The two locations, Palm Beach Central and Palm Beach County North, will serve communities from Boca Raton all the way up to Stuart. Former family physician Vikash Salig and dentist Vasi Salig will be opening the locations together. Originally from South Africa, they have dedicated their lives to helping people, and after having two sons on the autism spectrum, they realized the need for home care that provides a wide range of both medical and nonmedical services.
“I have learned so much from my patients and sons about the type of care people need,” Vikash said. “Of course, there are people who need medical assistance, but there are also people who need companionship and social care. We want our services to be personal and have a lasting impact on our clients. Executive Care was the only company we could find that provides quality care in both the medical and nonmedical realms.”
The Salig family moved to the United States in 2010 to get involved with Els for Autism, an organization dedicated to helping people with autism fulfill their potential and empower them to live “positive, productive, and rewarding lives.” One of their sons attends the Els Center of Excellence, located in Jupiter.
Founded in 2004, Executive Care offers a variety of caregiving and skilled services to help families often overwhelmed with the responsibility of providing care to a loved one – all while ensuring the patient remains in the comfort of his or her own home. Services range from companionship and help with meal preparation and household chores to help with bathing, personal hygiene and personal care. Executive Care also serves individuals recovering from illness, injury or surgery. They currently have two Florida locations in Clearwater and Fort Myers.
To guarantee the highest quality, Executive Care requires all prospective caregivers to undergo an intensive pre-employment screening process, including a criminal background investigation, verification of references and an employment history check. All caregivers are insured, experienced and undergo skills tests and continuing education training. Care Coordinators closely supervise and monitor all staff, conducting periodic evaluation assessments.
