Detail Garage Revs Up Utah Presence With Second Store in Orem

November 04, 2019 // Franchising.com // OREM, Utah - Detail Garage, the destination store for all car lovers, is opening its second location in Utah. The store’s grand opening will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at 354 E. 800 S., Orem.

The first 50 people in line will receive a special prize and an extra raffle ticket for giveaways. There will be prizes, raffles, food trucks and discounts throughout the day.

“Car care is especially important in Utah, where we have four seasons and everything that goes along with that – from road salt in the winter to water spots in spring to the harsh UV rays during hot summers,” said store owner Andre Lian, who opened his first Detail Garage in Salt Lake City more than two years ago.

“I am excited for our store to be available for our car community south of Salt Lake County. We hope to experience the same growth as the first store and reach new people,” Lian said.

Detail Garage offers premium, quality and professional auto detailing and car care products, including soaps, waxes, cleaners, equipment and accessories. The store will feature premium car care products from Chemical Guys, the franchise founders and main retail provider, along with products from Smartwax, TORQ and Hex-Logic.

“I’ve been personally detailing my family’s cars since I was old enough to drive,” Lian said. He became interested in Detail Garage after his first experience using Chemical Guys products.

Lian previously worked in healthcare as a pharmacist and said he enjoyed it, but his passion was always car care. Eventually, he decided to pursue the company’s franchising opportunity. His Salt Lake City store was the first to open outside the state of California.

Like all Detail Garage locations, the Orem store will offer in-store education and do-it-yourself workshops on how to properly apply car care products. The store also will host monthly Rides & Coffee events, where car lovers can gather to learn about products and purchase them at discounted prices.
