Hilton Expands Presence in Mexico with DoubleTree by Hilton Celaya

The new-build, 134-room hotel reinforces Hilton’s commitment to continued growth in Mexico

December 05, 2019 // Franchising.com // CELAYA, Mexico and MCLEAN, Va. - Today, DoubleTree by Hilton Celaya opens its doors to guests. Centrally located within the beautiful colonial city of Celaya, the new-build hotel is the latest addition to the growing DoubleTree by Hilton portfolio, one of Hilton’s 17 market-leading brands. The opening reinforces the company’s continued commitment to expansion in the region, with Hilton planning to add 30 new properties within the next three years to its existing portfolio of nearly 70 hotels in Mexico.

DoubleTree by Hilton Celaya offers 134 comfortable guest rooms, seven meeting rooms, a signature full-service restaurant, lobby and pool bars, 24-hour fitness center, outdoor pool and an indoor parking lot.

Rooms & Amenities
The modern hotel boasts the newest guestrooms in Celaya, each featuring a coffeemaker, signature bath products, work desk with an ergonomic chair and complimentary Wi-Fi. Guests who opt for suite accommodations can take advantage of a separate living area and a cozy sofa bed.

All guests are welcome to lounge in the hotel’s outdoor recreation area, complete with a heated outdoor swimming pool and pool bar, led by an expert team of mixologists, with specialty cocktails such as Cielito Lindo, Grito de Mezcal and Margarita al Pastor.

For groups looking to host meetings and events, DoubleTree by Hilton Celaya boasts nearly 11,000 square feet of flexible event space, with its largest ballroom holding up to 700 guests. Guests can also host events in the hotel’s outdoor 3,200-square-foot lounge terraces.

Travelers can dine at DIEGO, a contemporary Mexican restaurant open all day that features local cuisine with a Mediterranean touch. Dishes include ribeye birria, pork belly with mole chichilo and cuerito toasts. After indulging in the restaurant’s extensive menu, guests can cozy up at the lobby bar for wine and cocktails. Those looking for fresh salads, sandwiches and baked goods on-the-go can stop by the 24-hour Made Market within the hotel.

DoubleTree by Hilton Celaya provides travelers with a convenient location less than 50 miles from Querétaro Intercontinental Airport.
