January 24, 2020 // Franchising.com // MORRIS PLAINS, NJ - Jim Weichert, James Weichert Jr. and Bill Scavone have been selected for the 2020 Swanepoel POWER 200: The Most Powerful People in the Residential Real Estate Brokerage Industry, ranked #27 and #105, respectively.

The Weichert executives along with other real estate professionals on the list were chosen based on the office they hold, their tenure, the size of the company they lead, its financial resources, their significance and impact on the industry, their company’s activities in the previous year, other activities outside their own company and their personal power and influence.

This is the first appearance on the list for James Weichert Jr., vice chairman of Weichert Companies and son of company founder Jim Weichert, who joins his father at the #27 spot. Scavone who is president of Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. moved up 14 points from his position last year to #105 on the 2020 list.

“We are proud to be named to the 2020 Swanepoel Power ranking. It’s a validation of the Weichert Way, which has served us well for 50 years and is a great example of what sets Weichert apart,” said James Weichert Jr. “Weichert's regular appearance on the Swanepoel list really shows the strength and longevity of the Weichert brand and our ability to consistently deliver innovative tools, world-class training and incredible support for our associates and affiliated agents across the country."
