The Human Bean Is Set To Bring The Northwest Coffee Experience To The Southeast

March 10, 2020 // // GASTONIA, NC - This spring The Human Bean plans to open in Gastonia. The address is 3648 South New Hope Road, Gastonia, NC 28056.

The Human Bean, based in Medford, OR, opened its first drive-thru espresso and coffee stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. Since then The Human Bean’s signature style of service, quality beverages and intentional convenience has fueled its growth to more than 100 locations. The Human Bean is well known for its friendly and experienced baristas and for offering the highest quality ingredients.

“With all of the growth and the exciting things that are happening in Gastonia, the area presents a golden opportunity for a unique business like ours. The New Hope Crossing center is in a prime location and we couldn’t be more excited to open there” commented Alex Tremaine, General Manager of The Human Bean of Gastonia. “There’s nothing like THB’s particular style of double drive-thru experience anywhere in the Carolinas. I think that the area is going to be blown away by what we do” added Tremaine. He pointed out that he spent 3 weeks in Oregon learning the very specific way that The Human Bean prepares and serves its products. “Having lived in Gastonia for a long time I feel confident saying that before too long we’re going to be a cherished part of your daily routine” concluded Tremaine.

Darren Tuitt with General Contractor J.B. Stones Construction said that “the city of Gastonia has been wonderful to work with. We’ve done a few projects in town and we’re always thrilled when one comes up.”

Further announcements about the Gastonia location and other Charlotte-area and southeast locations are forthcoming via press release. You can also follow us @THBGastonia on Facebook and Instagram.
