Senior Helpers® of the Triangle Welcomes New Management

In-Home Senior Care Company Based in Durham Anticipates 100+ New Jobs for the Local Community

March 24, 2020 // Franchising.com // DURHAM, NC - Senior Helpers®, one of the nation’s premier providers of personalized in-home senior care, today announced Dave Massey as the new owner and operator of Senior Helpers of the Triangle, which serves North Carolina residents throughout Durham, Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Wake Forest and Cary. As a certified Great Place to Work®, Senior Helpers of the Triangle hopes to bring more than 100 new jobs to the surrounding region over the next year. Its professionally trained caregivers will help local seniors continue to enjoy the comfort of their own home despite age-related illnesses and mobility challenges.

“Several of my loved ones had to move into assisted living facilities as they grew older, but at the time my family was unaware of options that allow seniors to age in place, as they’d preferred, like Senior Helpers,” said Massey. “As a former estate planning attorney, I have witnessed how valuable in-home care is for elderly citizens. Upon discovering Senior Helpers’ unique methods of care, I wanted to help other local seniors live high-quality lives in their golden years. By joining the Senior Helpers family, I now have a platform to raise awareness about affordable senior care options, all while helping to make a difference in people’s lives.”

Senior Helpers operates with a vision to be the leading home care company in each community it serves. Its caregivers at the Triangle are trained to offer the highest level of care possible based on the company’s Senior Gems® Alzheimer’s and Dementia care program. As the gold standard for excellence in personalized in-home senior care, the program was developed in conjunction with nationally recognized dementia care expert Teepa Snow, Positive Approach, LLC. Residents will also benefit from the company’s Parkinson’s Care Program, a specialized training program for their caregivers created in conjunction with leading experts from the Parkinson’s Foundation’s Centers of Excellence network.

“We’re pleased to welcome Dave to our team as the newest Senior Helpers franchise owner,” said Peter Ross, CEO of Senior Helpers. “Dave brings a passion for his community and an understanding of the importance of in-home senior care to his new role. We know the franchise will serve him well and will provide tremendous value to seniors and families living in the Triangle and the surrounding area.”
