Concrete Craft Announces 2020 Community Service Award Winners

Concrete Craft business owners in Colorado and Tennessee honored for supporting veterans, youth, school sports and local firefighters

April 07, 2020 // Franchising.com // IRVINE, Calif. - Concrete Craft® has announced the recipients of its 2020 Heart & Home Giving Back Award and Concrete Craft Cares Award given to business owners making a difference in their local communities on behalf of their Concrete Craft franchise.

Collectively, the two Concrete Craft franchisee winners are helping veterans find employment and transition into civilian life, mentor disadvantaged youth, expand school sports programs and assist local firefighters and families in need, among other worthwhile causes.

Presented earlier this year by Concrete Craft President, Dan Lightner, the awards date back to 2018 and represent an extension of Concrete Craft’s commitment to caring and giving-back to customers, customer homes and communities through ongoing national partnerships and local, community efforts.

The two Concrete Craft community service award winners for 2020 are:

• Chuck Yates of Knoxville, Tenn. (Concrete Craft of Knoxville) – Concrete Craft Cares Award including a $2,500 donation to the Alcoa Youth Sports Foundation in Alcoa, Tenn. Yates was honored for his support of local youth, schools and sports teams; local families in need and the Knoxville Fire Fighters Association.
• Mark Cisco of Colorado Springs, Colo. (Concrete Craft of Colorado Springs) – Concrete Craft Heart & Home Giving Back Award. A veteran, Cisco was recognized for his passion for veteran job placement and vocational training; youth mentoring; and local chapters of Big Brothers Big Sisters and the American Red Cross.
