Senior Helpers® Opens Doors in Honolulu, Hawaii

Local In-home Senior Care Company to Bring 50 New Jobs to the Area

August 12, 2020 // // HONOLULU, HI - Senior Helpers®, one of the nation’s premier providers of personalized in-home senior care, announced the official opening of its Hawaii location, to be managed and operated by Karen Tierra. The new franchise will serve senior citizens and their families throughout the Honolulu area, which includes Makiki, McCully, Kaimuki, Aina Haina, Kahala, Kailua, Waimanalo, MBCH Kaneohe Bay, Moiliili and Waikiki, bringing more than 50 new jobs to the region over the next year. Senior Helpers’ professionally trained caregivers ensure local seniors continue to enjoy the comfort of their own home, despite age-related illnesses and mobility challenges.

“I was initially drawn to Senior Helpers because of the company’s status as a leader in pioneering advanced Alzheimer’s and dementia care for clients with its breakthrough programs,” said Tierra. “From my own first-hand experience, caring for family members, I know how important maintaining a sense of dignity and independence can be to older adults.”
