Mosquito Shield Launches First Georgia-Based Franchise Locations

Residential Mosquito Control Franchise Experiencing Rapid Growth during COVID Pandemic

EAST COBB, GA. (PRWEB) September 30, 2020 - Mosquito Shield Franchise Corporation, a leading residential mosquito and tick control service with over 50 locations across the United States, is expanding into Georgia with the launch of two new territories in North Atlanta.

Of the company’s recent growth, Mosquito Shield VP Michael Moorhouse said, “Residential mosquito and tick control is a fast-growing business sector, and as the first company in this space over 19 years ago, we have the foundation to be extremely well-positioned for growth.”

Mosquito Shield spent over a decade refining its formulas and application methods from its Massachusetts headquarters before introducing a franchise model for entrepreneurs in 2013.

“Our methodical approach to growth has set us up well for the impact of the COVID pandemic,” said Moorhouse, “While many businesses have struggled because of stay-at-home orders, such conditions have created a booming market for our services because people are left to enjoy the outdoors from their own backyards, rather than on vacation or at restaurants or large gatherings. With folks investing more to make their yards leisure-time destinations, the opportunity for Mosquito Shield to expand into new markets has exploded and we are experiencing an active period of growth as a result. The North Atlanta market is an obvious area to focus on given its high population density and its warm and humid climate which allows residents to enjoy the outdoors for three quarters of the year.”

The first Georgia franchise owned by husband and wife team Julie and TJ Kissane, who will service a region north of downtown Atlanta from Buckhead to the north including the towns of East Cobb, Sandy Springs, Roswell and Alpharetta. The couple has a long history in the area with TJ having grown up in Roswell. For the past seven years the couple has lived in various parts of Atlanta and two years ago they purchased their first home in East Cobb. “Our territory encompasses the reason people love Atlanta,” explained Mrs. Kissane. “We have the entertainment and culture of a big city, as well as the southern hospitality and community of a small town. North Atlanta is filled with countless quaint neighborhoods each with its own character.”

The couple explained that they made the decision to purchase a Mosquito Shield franchise because it aligned with their goals of running a business that had a positive impact on the lives of our customers. “We see Mosquito Shield as a way to improve our customer's daily lives and their valued family time with loved ones,” said Mrs. Kissane. “As new parents ourselves, we understand the needs of hard-working customers who want to maximize time outdoors with their family and friends. On weekends, we love spending time outside playing with our nine-month-old son and we want that time to be pest free. Business ownership has always been a dream for us and when we found Mosquito Shield, we knew this was the opportunity we had been looking for. Our goal is to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations and become the most trusted and recognized solution for mosquito control in our area.”
