Billy Sims Burger Celebrates Grand Opening in Midwest City, OK October 23-34

Guests are invited to Join Billy Sims and Special Guests for Weekend Celebration

October 21, 2020 // Franchising.com // TULSA, OKLA - Billy Sims Burger has touched down in Oklahoma! The new Billy Sims Burger in Midwest City is kicking off its grand opening celebration Friday, October 23 through Saturday, October 24! To kick off the grand opening celebration, Billy Sims and special guests, Heisman Winners Steve Owens and Jason White, will greet fans and sign autographs on Friday, October 23rd. Steve Owens will be at Billy Burger from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., followed by a Ribbon cutting with the Midwest City Chamber of Commerce at 4:00 p.m. and an appearance by Jason White from 5:00- 6:00 p.m. The celebration does not stop there! On Saturday, October 24th, special guests and OU legends Thomas Lott, Jamelle Holieway, and Victor Hicks will join Billy to continue the grand opening celebration. Jamelle Holieway will be at Billy Burger from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., and Thomas Lott and Victor Hicks will have appearances from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Billy Sims will also be there from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Everyone is invited to meet Billy Sims and his special guests, take pictures and get autographs at each of these events. There will be giveaways and a wonderful opportunity to meet your favorite OU legends! "Billy Sims Burger is something I'm very excited about," Sims says. About Billy Sims

Billy Sims is an accomplished athlete and successful entrepreneur whose career highlights include numerous high school, collegiate and professional records that still stand today. Under the guidance of Coach Barry Switzer at the University of Oklahoma, Sims was the national leading rusher and scorer and was also the recipient of the coveted Heisman Trophy. Sims entered the NFL draft in 1980 and was the number one overall draft pick going to the Detroit Lions.
