Local entrepreneur opening eco-friendly carpet cleaning franchise to be an inspiration for other disabled military veterans

Local franchisee Douglas Green, a disabled military veteran, opened his new location at the beginning of November.

His Oxi Fresh territory will bring the brand’s eco-friendly carpet cleaning services to 28 zip codes throughout the greater Tulsa area, including Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Bixby, Jenks, Muskogee, and other communities.

Prior to becoming a carpet cleaning franchisee with Oxi Fresh, Green spent eight years in the United States Marine Corps, during which he was deployed to Iraq, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Japan, and Thailand. During his tours of duty, Green suffered multiple injuries while serving his country, including injuries to his spine, knees, and his shoulder; he is also living with post-traumatic stress disorder. After returning to the United States and leaving the military, Green owned two separate businesses before finding Oxi Fresh.
