Jennifer Courson Joins Engel & Völkers Orlando Downtown

Engel & Völkers Orlando Downtown recruits local top producer, Jennifer Courson as Managing Broker

ORLANDO, FLA. (PRWEB) January 11, 2021 - Engel & Völkers Florida today announced Jennifer Courson has joined Engel & Völkers Orlando Downtown, one of several franchised-brokerages in Central Florida. Courson will lead the shop as it’s new managing broker, alongside License Partners, Pedro Marrero and Raed Abuquta, where she is responsible for talent attraction, retention and development.

“After 13 years as an agent in various sales roles, I felt it was time to take my career to the next level,” said Courson. “I wanted to join forces with an international brand that exudes luxury and customer service, and after meeting several members within the Engel & Völkers network, I knew their culture was exactly what I was looking for.”

Courson joins Engel & Völkers with an impressive professional history. After obtaining her Bachelors degrees in business administration and marketing from the University of Florida, she spent a decade working with David Weekley Homes, the largest privately-held custom home builder in America. During that time, she was a top-performing sales consultant and internet advisor. This experience allows her to ensure a smooth transaction process whether building, buying or selling a home. Most recently, she co-led a team at Premier Sotheby's International Realty Southeast Orlando, where she contributed to the teams over $40-million worth of transactions in 2019. When not selling real estate, she leads Tribe International, a professional women's organization she co-founded in 2018.

“The decision to add Jenn to the leadership team at Engel & Völkers Orlando Downtown is a significant part of our 2021 growth plan,” said Marrero. “We believe having a well known, experienced broker with a successful track record at another luxury brand will instill confidence and trust among local agents who want to join our brand. It will also free up time and energy for my business partner and I to further explore additional growth opportunities for the future of the brokerage.”

Marrero obtained the license rights to Engel & Völkers Orlando Downtown, which is located at 230 E Marks St, in January 2020. He formed a business partnership with Abuquta shortly after to accelerate growth and add other related services such as mortgage to better service their clients. Together, they have recruited twenty advisors and have goals to add 25 more full-time realtors that are closing at least nine transactions per year, with an average price of $351,000. An official grand opening is slated for spring 2021.

“I am honored to join Engel & Völkers Orlando Downtown to serve as their managing broker,” said Courson. “The way in which they service clients with a bespoke, VIP experience ensures every meaningful detail is attended to - that’s what really drew me in. Everyone in the company works together collaboratively to help one another succeed and outperform goals. I look forward to the opportunity to help our advisors grow professionally and take their businesses to the next level.”
