Phenix Salon Suites Strengthens Its Foothold In The Sunshine State

Multi-Unit Operators Set Plans to Bring 7 New Premier Salon Suites to Florida

February 04, 2021 // Franchising.com // FLORIDA - Phenix Salon Suites announced it has signed agreements with two sets of reputable entrepreneurs to lead the brand’s expansion in Florida.

Alex Bello and Miguel Guerra are experienced operators with Phenix, having one location already open in Hollywood, Florida and three more in the works. Expecting two of the three salon locations to be open by the end of 2021 in Hialeah and Boca, Florida, Bello and Guerra will bring their expertise in property management to each new Phenix location.

“When I was looking into my next business venture, an investment with Phenix was a simple decision considering the similarities it has operationally to managing my real estate properties,” said Bello, who worked for J.P. Morgan for 10-plus years before starting his career in real estate. “I liked the salon suite model and the flexibility it offered entrepreneurs. Phenix specifically had the puzzle already put together for franchisees and I saw a great opportunity to bring more Phenix salon locations to the Southeast.”

Alongside Bello and Guerra are Kevin and Tori Downs, who also signed a 4-unit Phenix development agreement in late 2020. Tori is a licensed cosmetologist and saw a need in Florida for a salon location that offers lifestyle professionals the opportunity to become their own boss without breaking the bank and Phenix does just that.

Phenix Salon Suites was one of the first salon suite concepts to offer luxurious, spacious suites for independent salon and lifestyle professionals to follow their dreams and become their own boss. The suites are equipped with upscale amenities including a styling chair, shampoo chair, two cabinets, a hair dryer and a shampoo bowl that hooks directly onto the sink. The salon essentials are designed to meet each professional’s basic needs while providing them the opportunity to customize their suites.
