Eggs Up Grill Invites Guests To “Eat Happy”

New limited time menu includes sparkling beverages; runs through Mother’s Day

February 05, 2021 // Franchising.com // SPARTANBURG, S.C. - With Valentine’s Day around the corner signaling the start of a season of springtime celebrations, Eggs Up Grill is rolling out a limited time menu with three new items and an offering of sparkling drinks. Guests are sure to “Eat Happy” enjoying a savory Coastal Crab Cake Benedict and decadent Chocolate Covered Strawberry French Toast starting Monday, Feb. 8, through Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 9.  A Shrimp and Grits Bowl is joining the menu permanently.  At participating locations, guests can also choose between Sparkling Rose or a Sparkling Rose Mimosa.

“At Eggs Up Grill, our goal is to help our guests smile; we exist to make people happy.  Over the past year, so many in-person celebrations were canceled.  As we start a new year, we want to serve a bit of happiness to our guests, and give them a reason to celebrate.  There’s no such thing as a celebration without great-tasting food and drink,” said Ricky Richardson, CEO of Eggs Up Grill.  “So whether they dine with us in person, or in their own homes, we’ve introducing a savory crab cake that reminds you of the seaside, an indulgent stuffed French Toast that satisfies any craving, and a flavorful shrimp and grits bowl topped with fresh, made to order eggs.  All of these dishes pair well with our new sparkling rose mimosa.”

The Coastal Crab Cake Benedict comes with sauteed crab cakes on toasted garlic bread, topped with poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, and a dash of Old Bay® seasoning. It is served with home fries, grits, or fresh fruit starting at $11.99. The Chocolate Covered Strawberry French Toast is two slices of cinnamon French toast stuffed with strawberry cream cheese, topped with powdered sugar and a chocolate drizzle for $7.99. The Shrimp and Grits Bowl features sautéed shrimp, Andouille sausage, sautéed onions, and Swiss cheese. It is served atop fire-roasted tomatoes and spinach grits, with hand-cracked eggs and a side of garlic toast starting at $10.99. Sparkling Rose or a Sparking Rose Mimosa can be ordered for $5.99 each at participating locations.

Eggs Up Grill offers these seasonal items and its full menu for dine-in, takeout or delivery.  Menu categories include breakfast sandwiches, benedicts, omelets, pancakes, waffles, French toast, as well as classic breakfast entrees, home-fry bowls, and fan-favorite muffins. The full menu is available open to close with lunch choices including burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and salads. The menu also offers heart-healthy and gluten-friendly options and a kids’ menu.  Family Bundle meals are also offered for takeout and delivery, providing an easy way to feed four people starting at $25. All locations are individually owned and operated by a local member of the community, providing great-tasting, freshly prepared breakfast, brunch, and lunch options.
