Company celebrates and highlights achievements from the past year.

February 17, 2021 // Franchising.com // TAMPA, FL - College H.U.N.K.S. Hauling Junk & Moving® recently hosted their 2021 Reunion, and like most companies operating during the pandemic, took their annual conference online. The event rallied franchisees and staff to celebrate the achievements of the past year and takes a look ahead to the coming year. The main theme for the 2021 event was “Roadmap to Success,” with supporting messages “Stay the Course” and “Trust the System” to remind the franchisees and staff that College HUNKS is a tried-and-true brand, and even a pandemic will not stop its success.

“Despite the challenges of 2020, our teams were still able to shine bright through their business efforts,” said Nick Friedman, Co-Founder and Visionary of College HUNKS. “We look forward to these annual reunions that allow us to reconnect and shine a light on our team members and their accomplishments.

“With the pandemic, our organization needed these uplifting moments even more. We elevated our service standards to meet the moment and leaned into existing technologies that gave us the upper hand even before COVID-19,” continued Friedman. “By focusing on these elements and holding steadfast to our core business principles, we were able to continue our operations safely and efficiently for our customers and produce results that should make our teams proud.”

As part of the 2021 Reunion, College HUNKS recognized top achievers across the system. Recognition was given based on revenue generation, including per population and dollar amounts ranging from one million dollars to upwards of more than seven million dollars. New and existing Million Dollar Club members were announced. The leading group, the 7 Million Dollar Club welcomed a new member, the Long Island, NY HUNKS. The leaders in categories of Total Revenue, Junk Revenue per Population, and Move Revenue per Population were also spotlighted. Top hunks in Total Revenue included Atlanta, GA; Nashville, TN; Orlando, FL; Philadelphia, PA; Tampa, FL; Washington, D.C.; and of course, Long Island, NY.

Awards included the 2020 BDF Enrichment Grant Award, Inc. 5,000 Recipients, Top Overall Brand Alignment (Kalamazoo, MI), and the 2020 Hunk of the Year (Corey Carper from Virginia Beach, VA). The notable 2020 Move the World Award was given to all frontline team members.

“Although our franchise partners and staff could not celebrate in person for this year’s event, we feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to give them their much-deserved recognition through a different platform,” added Friedman. “Our successes and growth are greatly in thanks to their hard work and commitment to providing exceptional service and easing the moving process for individuals across the country.”
