Phenix Salon Suites Sweeps into Pennsylvania and New Jersey Expanding its East Coast Footprint
Local Entrepreneurs to Bring Four Salons to Philadelphia and South Jersey
February 18, 2021 // Franchising.com // PHILADEDLPHIA - Phenix Salon Suites, the leading salon suite franchise, announced it has signed agreements with two entrepreneurial teams to continue the brand’s strategic expansion along the East Coast.
The first agreement for a location in the Philadelphia suburbs has been signed with the local business team of TKSS LLC. Under the management of Shawn Quinn Jr, Timothy Quinn, Shannon Kirner and Kelly Strunk, the individualized suite complex for salon and lifestyle professionals is expected to open in December of 2021.
“Our team was looking for an opportunity where all of our collective experiences in the construction and style sectors could come into play. After researching salon suite businesses, we felt that Phenix’s business model, buildout plan and emphasis on self-care businesses was a great match for our team,” said Shawn Quinn Jr, a TKSS partner and construction manager. “Since coming on board with the Phenix team we’ve felt excited to be aligned on our goals for our upcoming location in the Philly suburbs. Along with the TKSS team are Cori and John Basile, who also signed a 3-unit Phenix development agreement in late 2020. The Basile’s are looking to establish locations in South New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Cori, a corporate retail merchant with a focus in beauty, has family roots in the salon industry as her mother worked as a nail technician and father owned a barbershop in Atlantic City. After visiting her hair stylist who operates out of a Phenix Salon Suites location, she fell in love with the business concept and decided to become a part of the brand family.
