DQ Grill & Chill Restaurant Opens in Greenacres
Seasoned Restauranteurs Bring QSR Concept to Palm Beach County
March 30, 2021 // Franchising.com // GREENACRES, Fla. - DQ® fans, rejoice. Greenacres just got a whole lot sweeter.
American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ), the legacy brand beloved for its mouthwatering meals and tasty treats, recently announced plans to bring another DQ Grill & Chill® restaurant to South Florida. Set to open March 31, the restaurant will be located at 4828 Lake Worth Road.
The new restaurant will be operated under the ownership of GL Melby LLC. Michael Becker will also be involved with the Greenacres location, bringing with him more than 15 years of experience in the food service industry as well as a 6-year partnership with Dairy Queen®.
“The leadership team at DQ Greenacres has years of involvement in the restaurant and customer service space. We understand what makes a brand successful, and love that DQ is a timeless restaurant concept that appeals to all ages and tastebuds,” said Becker, Multi-Unit Manager with Dairy Queen. “We are thrilled to be expanding the brand’s footprint by bringing fan-favorite foods and treats to the Greenacres community.”
In addition to GL Melby LLC and Becker, Danielle Walinski will handle daily operations as the general manager at the new DQ Grill & Chill restaurant. She also has extensive experience with Dairy Queen and has worked for restaurants in both Florida and Wisconsin.
The DQ Grill & Chill flagship concept modernizes guests’ dining experience. In addition to soft-serve favorites, DQ fans can also enjoy made-to-order lunch and dinner options including GrillBurgers™, Chicken Strip Baskets and delicious hot sandwiches.
A welcoming environment for all, the forthcoming DQ Grill & Chill location features a modern look and feel, comfortable booths, large wooden tables, warm lighting and upbeat music.
