Postal Connections® to Add 4th Location in Bend-Redmond Area

Leading Shipping and Business Services Provider Coming Soon to Bend River Mall

April 23, 2021 // Franchising.com // BEND, OR - Postal Connections®, one of the nation’s premier providers of retail packaging, shipping, mail receiving and eBay customer-sales support, will soon open a third Bend location. The new service center is planning a late-spring arrival at Bend River Mall, which is situated on the city’s North side just off the intersection of the highly trafficked Bend Parkway and Highway 20. Local resident Lee Kennedy will own and operate the franchise location, which is the fourth in the Bend-Redmond Area. His wife, Leticia Sanchez, son, Jacob Kennedy, and father, Ken Kennedy, will support the family-run business as well.

“I have been impressed by the Postal Connections franchise model since day one and have witnessed firsthand how a business service center with time-saving, personalized services will meet the needs of local residents here in my Bend community,” said Lee Kennedy. “Whether you’re a state government employee now working from home in need of a notarization or a budding entrepreneur eager to ship handcrafted merchandise to customers, Postal Connections will be a one-stop shop to meet your needs.”

Bend River Mall’s Postal Connections service center will offer 24/7 personal mailbox receiving, shipping, packaging and printing, as well as notary services and passport photos. The location will also feature the Postal Connections sister brand iSOLD It®, an online sales support service for people who want to turn items into cash by selling them online but are uncomfortable, inexperienced or just don’t have the time to do it themselves. iSOLD It also provides free item evaluations, expert advice on pricing and online listing strategies with no fees due until an item sells. The listing is good for 30 days. If the item doesn’t sell, there is no charge and customers can either pick up their item or have it donated to charity.

As the owner of the soon-to-open Postal Connections/iSOLD It, Lee will bring valuable experience to his service center as he comes from a diverse, but relevant, work background. He most recently worked in the package delivery industry locally in Bend. Previously, his experience included roles in construction, flooring and EPA testing. He will oversee day-to-day operations and looks forward to serving the community with reliable, convenient access to a large menu of services with ample parking and personalized customer care.

Postal Connections/iSOLD It will offer a virtual mailbox service with email notification to customers when mail arrives. Customers, located anywhere, can then decide if mail should be held, opened and scanned to send them or discard.

Headquartered in Frisco, Texas, Postal Connections/iSOLD It has established itself as a leading franchise and provider of an innovative array of business and personal service centers. It offers access to postal products, FedEx, DHL, and accepts drop off ecommerce returns, along with receiving from all carriers.

“Our stores make life easier for the everyday resident and business owner. Lee is the perfect person to carry out our operating values,” said Fred Morache, COO of Postal Connections. “I’m confident Lee will thrive in the Bend market where we have fantastic brand awareness. Today’s ecommerce brings us wonderful products at affordable prices, yet people appear to be starved for customized services when tasks are time consuming or they simply want the benefit of having someone else do it.”

Postal Connections/iSOLD It was able to pivot quickly to meet the challenges of the pandemic head on. When nationwide mandates declared shipping and postal services as essential businesses, the brand met the need of its communities and the nation’s needs as well. Working throughout the pandemic and serving the public as more and more consumers quarantine, and  shop and work from home, Postal Connections/iSOLD It has proved its resistance to the recession.
