Veteran and Business Partner to Take Over Intelligent Office Lincolnshire Location
Entrepreneur duo expand ownership as flexible business needs rise in Chicagoland Area
June 18, 2021 // Franchising.com // LINCOLNSHIRE, I.L. - Intelligent Office is continuing to help businesses of all sizes adapt to changing office trends caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and shift to remote work. With one location open in Raleigh, NC and one on track to open in the Raleigh area in 2022, Lamarr Cook is adding the Lincolnshire, Illinois Intelligent Office to his portfolio with his business partner Ritchie Patel.
Patel is a first time owner of an Intelligent Office franchise, but Cook, a former Marine and IT executive, will now be responsible for two current, and one upcoming, Intelligent Office locations. Patel and Cook have partnered up in order to extend their reach and help a broader range of small business owners. Cook has an extensive background in leading global IT operations and in entrepreneurship as a Title Boxing Club franchise owner. He also studied Ethical Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability at Harvard after serving in the Marine Corps.
Patel graduated from Northern Illinois University and comes from 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, working for companies, such as, Covidien, Medtronic, and Boston Scientific. Today Patel is following his passion of entrepreneurship and owns multiple franchisees, including, Title Boxing Club, Forever Yogurt, and now, Intelligent Office.
“We want to expand our outreach to the Chicago area, which needs help to navigate growing businesses throughout the end of the pandemic,” said Cook. “I am excited by this opportunity to increase our support for businesses to a new market and continue to show how Intelligent Office can help local owners cut costs and focus on what matters, which is growing their business.”
The Lincolnshire location services a diverse range of businesses, ranging from attorneys, consultants, and medical centers to hair salons, electricians, and plumbers. Cook and Patel have also made it their goal to mentor other entrepreneurs and business owners while providing them with Intelligent Office’s cost-effective services.
“We are continuing to help businesses change the way they work since many of their employees are still working remotely or are on a rotating schedule in 2021,” said Patel. “It’s exciting to see the interest in Intelligent Office continue to grow across the country as business owners are starting to realize how much our services can help them cut costs and run as efficiently as possible.”
