DreamMaker of Springfield Wins Franchise of the Year Award

August 10, 2021 // Franchising.com // Curt and Deb Trampe, owners of DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen of Springfield, IL, have been named Franchise of the Year.

DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen is a home remodeling franchise with earnings consistently outpacing national averages. The company’s owners and their employees adhere to a “Code of Values,” which emphasizes honesty and integrity combined with customer-first designs and remodeling.

“DreamMaker was attractive because they focused exclusively on the profitable fields of kitchen and bathroom remodeling, which was appealing after my previous unspecialized business experience,” says Trampe. “This reduced scope of work and specialization also led to the potential for higher margins and profits. The fact that there were systems already set up to follow, and a business process that was repeatable, was also very valuable to me.

“Just having others that are attempting to operate their business in the same model is a huge benefit. You’re able to learn the things that they did well and were successful with as well as learning from their failures and trying to avoid them or tweak them so that they aren’t failures. That’s definitely an important asset that being a part of a franchise brings to the table.”

The Trampes say that they really appreciate DreamMaker’s Code of Values. “They were based upon, and connected with, the way that I tried to operate my own business to begin with, so that was definitely appealing to me. DreamMaker is a business of integrity and being faith-based was important to me, as well as the way that they take care of their clients and their employees,” Curt says.

“Being a part of a faith-based franchise allows me to have a great level of connection with other franchise owners. It’s certainly not a requirement, but for most people who do get involved with DreamMaker, their faith is pretty personal and valuable to them, which provides yet another connecting point. As someone whose faith is a cornerstone of who I am, it’s definitely an appealing facet that others involved in this organization value the same thing.
