Zaxby’s Expands In Florida With New Restaurant Experience In Lutz

New Sun Vista Dr. Zaxby’s opening drive-thru on Monday

August 24, 2021 // Franchising.com // ATHENS, Ga. - Zaxby’s will open its newest restaurant at 2153 Sun Vista Dr., in Lutz, Florida. The new Zaxby’s is owned and operated by Brad Harper, owner of Swamp Dawg LLC and is scheduled to open for drive-thru customers only on Monday, Aug. 30, 2021.

“Our team is thrilled to offer the Lutz community a new restaurant experience with delicious hand-breaded chicken and more,” said Harper, a seasoned Zaxby’s licensee. “We are tremendously excited to begin working with the community and to partner with local schools in the area.”

The new 3,715 square-foot farmhouse-style restaurant, which is located right off of exit 275 on I-75, will have indoor seating available for 70 guests. The new building will feature eco-friendly LED lighting including in the parking lot and motion-sensing lights inside the restrooms. Construction started in February of this year. Customers may order online as well as through the Zaxby’s app available for download on Google Play and the App Store. Third-party delivery will not be offered immediately at this location but will follow at a later date.

An alternative to fast food, Zaxby’s serves fresh, prepared-at-order, hand-breaded Chicken Fingerz and wings tossed in a variety of nine sauces. The menu also features four Zalads including the recently introduced Southwest Zalad, along with several Shareables including Fried White Cheddar Bites, Fried Pickles and Zaxby’s famous Crinkle Fries. Zaxby’s Fanz can also enjoy a variety of rewards through the upgraded loyalty program, Zax Fanz Club. New Fanz can enjoy a Zaxby’s Signature Sandwich for free when downloading the app for the first time.

Harper and his team have eight locations across the Marion, Pasco and Hernando Counties with plans for more. This location will be their first in Lutz in addition to their already existing Pasco County location in New Port Richey.
