September 21, 2021 // Franchising.com // St. Peters, MO. - School of Rock, a performance-based music education franchise, announces the grand opening of a new school in St. Peters, Missouri. The event will take place at 284 Mid Rivers Mall Circle, St Peters, MO, 63376, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. CDT, on Saturday, September 25. Along with an on-site remote with local rock radio station KSHE 95, the event will offer a live performance from the Kirkwood School of Rock house band, food truck, tours of the school, and meet-and-greet with the teachers.

School of Rock St. Peters is owned by Frankie Muriel. For over a decade, Frankie has been an active performer, producer, and lead singer of the St. Louis-based cover band DRZHIVEGAS. The pandemic compelled Frankie to consider new ways to generate revenue, while also creating opportunities for his peers in the community that have supported his career for decades. Frankie is excited by the idea of using his experience on stage and in the studio to mentor children who want to be performers.

“I instantly connected to School of Rock’s philosophy of using a performance-based approach to teach music education,” said Frankie Muriel. “Being in a band is how you learn the importance of group goals and supporting one another to create something greater than the individual. I’m excited, as a lifelong performer, to bring these lessons and those experiences to a new generation of rockers!”

School of Rock provides students of all ages an exciting and engaging music lesson experience, which includes bass lessons, guitar lessons, singing lessons, drum lessons, and piano lessons. Drawing from all styles of rock and roll, School of Rock students learn theory and techniques via songs from legendary artists such as Aretha Franklin, Lenny Kravitz, and Led Zeppelin. Thanks to the school’s performance-based approach, students around the world have gained superior musical proficiency, with some moving on to record deals and larger platforms such as American Idol, The Voice and Broadway.

“There is a lot of heart and soul that goes into School of Rock,” said Rob Price, CEO of School of Rock. “Frankie Muriel is someone who embodies this spirit. His passion about music as a gigging musician informs and inspires his effort. I look forward to watching his students thrive through music education and live performances.”
