“We are excited to bring our popular Tex-Mex restaurant to McAllen and to introduce locals and tourists alike to our delicious menu,” said Chief Real Estate Officer Mike Wood. “With our bold flavors of Texas and Mexico paired with our fun atmosphere, there’s no doubt On The Border will become the next go-to spot in the area. It’s also a very exciting time for On The Border, as we accelerate brand growth by adding a second hotel location to our portfolio. Our brand is thriving – providing jobs, opportunities and, of course, great food to the communities we serve!”

This marks the second On The Border franchise restaurant for Perspective Hospitality.

“We are thrilled to open our second On The Border restaurant in our flagship Embassy Suites by Hilton Hotel,” said Manager of Perspective Hospitality Hershal Patel. “McAllen has been the primary dining destination for the region, and the Convention Center area has become the local hot spot for dining. We are feeling ecstatic to be a part of that culinary experience by providing a taste of both sides of the border. It is sure to delight both locals and visitors as they pass through Embassy Suites.”
