The North Dallas grand opening event includes performances from the North Dallas Coaching band and McKinney’s House band

October 27, 2021 // Franchising.com // North Dallas, TX. - School of Rock, a leader in performance-based music education, announces the grand opening of a new school in North Dallas, Texas. The event will take place at 12300 Inwood Rd Ste 220 Dallas, Texas 75244, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. CST, on Saturday, October 30. Along with a performance from the School of Rock McKinney House Band, the event will offer a live performance from the North Dallas Coaching Band.

School of Rock North Dallas is owned by Kiva, Fran, and Dalton Rapattoni, as well as Susie McFadden and Shannon Jabczynski. This is the third location the group has opened together to further provide music education to all children in the area.

Many people in the DFW metroplex may remember Dalton from American Idol's final season on the FOX network (season 15) where he placed 3rd in the competition. Dalton enrolled in School of Rock at the age of 12 and had a full career in the music industry at the young age of 25, which he credits in large part to his roots at School of Rock.

“We are very excited to announce School of Rock's tenth metroplex location in North Dallas at Inwood and the Tollway,” said Dalton Rapattoni. "We enjoy providing students the opportunity to build confidence and sharpen their musical skills through performances. Our goal is to inspire kids of all ages to rock out.”

School of Rock provides students of all ages an exciting and engaging music lesson experience, which includes bass lessons, guitar lessons, singing lessons, drum lessons, and piano lessons. Drawing from all styles of rock and roll, School of Rock students learn theory and techniques via songs from legendary artists such as Aretha Franklin, Lenny Kravitz, and Led Zeppelin. Thanks to the school’s performance-based approach, students around the world have gained superior musical proficiency, with some moving on to record deals and larger platforms such as American Idol,The Voice and Broadway.

“The North Dallas owners are all passionate about music and inspiring the next generation of young artists,” said Rob Price, CEO of School of Rock. “We are delighted to celebrate their third school and to see them positively impact the lives of their students throughout the community.”
