School Of Rock Sacramento Is Ready To Rock N’ Roll

October 28, 2021 // Franchising.com // Sacramento, CA. - School of Rock announces the grand opening of a new school in Sacramento, California. The event will take place at 6350 Fair Oaks Blvd, Carmichael, CA 95608, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. PST, on Saturday, October 30. Along with a ceremonial guitar smashing (School of Rock’s version of a ribbon-cutting), the event will offer live performances from three neighboring schools, plus Sacramento’s very own first performance group (students from 12 to 18), Rock 101 group (students from 9 to 11), Rookies and Little Wing students (students 4-7), and the staff band. The event will also offer free tacos, a school tour, free trial lessons, and a trunk or treat.

School of Rock Sacramento is owned by Jason and Cecilia Kline. Jason and Cecilia both share a love of music, especially live music. In 2017, they opened the School of Rock Elk Grove, and in 2019 they opened School of Rock Roseville. Cecilia and Jason also have another company, AXE HEAVEN, that is heavily involved in the music industry, working with many major guitar manufacturers and artists. School of Rock is their way of paying it forward, and they hope it will have an impact on the future live music scene in the Sacramento area.

"School of Rock offers a safe space for kids who are looking for their tribe, kids who are creative and love music,” said Cecilia. "For parents, it’s a great feeling watching your kids rocking on stage playing songs that you listened to when they were young.  We offer a unique experience for kids to express their joy and build confidence through music in a world where teenagers struggle with many social issues. School of Rock is so much more than music lessons, we aim to inspire everyone to rock on stage and in life.”

School of Rock provides students of all ages an exciting and engaging music lesson experience, which includes bass lessons, guitar lessons, singing lessons, drum lessons, and piano lessons. Drawing from all styles of rock and roll, School of Rock students learn theory and techniques via songs from legendary artists such as Aretha Franklin, Lenny Kravitz, and Led Zeppelin. Thanks to the school’s performance-based approach, students around the world have gained superior musical proficiency, with some moving on to record deals and larger platforms such as American Idol, The Voice and Broadway.

"Cecilia and Jason are passionate about music and inspiring the next generation of young artists,” said Rob Price, CEO of School of Rock. “We are delighted to celebrate their third school and to see them positively impact the lives of their students throughout the community.”
