Goodcents on State Avenue Reopens Following Renovation
January 11, 2022 // Franchising.com // KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The Goodcents restaurant at 7933 State Ave. is celebrating its reopening this month after several months of renovations.
After a neighboring business flooded, the restaurant required several months of construction to correct damage. While the restaurant was closed for construction, the franchise owner took the opportunity to complete a number of upgrades in the restaurant.
The restaurant is owned and operated by David Barkman. “We appreciate the patience and good wishes of our longtime customers and Goodcents fans, and we are thrilled to be back and ready to serve them,” Barkman said.
The newly renovated restaurant features an updated interior design. The menu features Goodcents’ traditional and specialty sub sandwiches, which are served on the restaurant’s signature pillowy soft bread. The restaurant also offers Goodcents To Go meals, conveniently packaged dinner entrées that feature hearty pastas, pot roast, salmon and chicken, as well as delicious, freshly baked cookies.
Regular hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
Goodcents CEO Farrellynn Wolf said, “We are excited that the State Avenue location is once again open for business in Kansas City. We know that loyal Goodcents fans have missed the convenience of that location, and we are happy to be back in the neighborhood.”
