Stan Piernick of New Braunfels, TX, Recognized as Maaco Regional Award Winner

Intense Focus on Customer Satisfaction Drives Success

January 31, 2022 // Franchising.com // CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Each year, Maaco, America’s body shop and the leader in the $38 billion automotive paint and collision industry, recognizes its top performing franchisees for outstanding sales, leadership and operational excellence. Stan Piernick of New Braunfels, TX, who owns Maaco New Braunfels was one of six Maaco owners in the southern region of the US recently awarded the regional Maaco Cup Award.

Piernick became a Maaco franchisee in 2017 and quickly leveraged his business expertise as a former director of operations for a Fortune 100 company, along with his passion for cars, to make his Maaco location a top performer. That led him to earn Maaco Rookie of the Year honors for 2018.

Piernick’s New Braunfels operation is Maaco Diamond Certified, which is the highest level of certification within the Maaco network of more than 400 locations, based on his team’s training, certification, and repair expertise.
He is now a back-to-back regional Maaco Cup Award winner who cites an intense focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction as what has driven his success over the past five years.

“There are three things that I can attribute our success to,” said Piernick. “First is a relentless pursuit of customer satisfaction. We will do whatever it takes to ensure the customer leaves our shop delighted with the outcome. That is evidenced by our 4.8 Google rating. Second, continuing education. All 13 of my technicians are I-CAR Gold certified and my shop meets the requirements for Maaco Diamond status. And last, we have a ‘One Team- One Goal’ philosophy, and titles don’t matter—customers do.”
