Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services Celebrates 30 Years of Serving Others

March 01, 2022 // Franchising.com // PALM HARBOR, Fla. - Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services is celebrating its 30th anniversary in business today.

Founder and CEO Todd Hopkins, CBSE, signed his first customer on March 1, 1992. He developed the Office Pride business model while researching the commercial cleaning industry and pursuing his MBA at Butler University. He began franchising in 1996.

“In developing a business plan for my MBA project, I interviewed the leaders of several large cleaning companies and asked what they would do differently if they were just starting their companies and their goal was to deliver ‘total customer satisfaction,’” Hopkins said. “Then I took what I learned and combined it with my experience and education to create a vision for Office Pride.”

Starting with just $20,000 in savings and help from family and friends, Hopkins started working out of his home, cleaning at night and building his business during the day. He acknowledges that it wasn’t always easy, but he persevered, relying on his faith and business skills. From the beginning, he was determined to also help others realize their dreams of business ownership by building long-term, profitable businesses that glorified God while serving the community.

Today, Office Pride is a nationally respected commercial cleaning franchise with nearly 150 locations across 25 states. A faith-based business, Office Pride’s strong set of core values are foundational to every aspect of its business. Office Pride is a leader in the commercial cleaning and franchise industries, ranked among Entrepreneur’s prestigious Franchise 500® and is a member of the Franchise Business ReviewTM Hall of Fame for its outstanding franchisee satisfaction rankings.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled about how Office Pride has grown over the last three decades. But you know, it’s not about me or a dream that I had so long ago. It’s the culmination of experiences, stories and people who are part of our franchise family,” Hopkins said. “I am so grateful, and we are truly blessed to serve our communities and positively impact people and workplaces. When I look back over the last 30 years, I believe it’s been a good setup for the next 30.”
