Keller Williams ONEChicago Promotes and Hires Three New Leaders

The Brokerage’s new Operating Principal, Team Leader, and Market Center Administrator are Focused on Increased Market Share and Agent Career Growth.

March 02, 2022 // Franchising.com // CHICAGO - Today, Keller Williams OneChicago announced administrative leadership additions and promotions that will take the company through its next growth phase. The brokerage is proud to introduce its newest Operating Principal, Market Center Administrator, and Team Leader:

Joe Zimmerman, former Team Leader, has been promoted to Operating Principal. In this role, the long-time Keller Williams trailblazer will focus on achieving the company’s vision - to be the real estate company of choice for agents and their customers.

  • La’Dweena Smith is being promoted from Assistant Team Leader to Team Leader. In her elevated role, she will be responsible for recruiting top agents and leaders, acting as a consultant for agents, and growing Keller Williams throughout Chicagoland.
  • Jeannie Krichbaum joins the administrative leadership team as Market Center Administrator. She will oversee all financial matters and provide direct support to the Team Leader. Before this role, Jeannie was a leader with Keller Williams for four years, after being an agent for two years.
  • Josh Weinberg, former Operating Principal, remains part of ONEChicago and continues to co-lead its largest, award-winning team, along with Tommy Choi. The two are focused on broadening the Keller Williams market share with existing agents while looking for additional talent. They will continue working closely with the other administrative leaders.

“One of the best things about Keller Williams is the ability to make your career your own,” said Zimmerman. “Being part of this family means there is an opportunity to grow into an administrative role or elevate in a sales role. In so many ways, we deliver on Our Mission to build careers worth having, businesses worth owning, lives worth living, experiences worth giving, and legacies worth leaving.  We are the land of opportunity and growth.’”

In September 2020, three Keller Williams Chicago offices - Lakeview, Lincoln Park, and O’Hare - partnered to become one and expand the Keller Williams brand throughout Chicago and its surrounding suburbs. Keller Williams ONEChicago was created, and the group continues to focus on growth, training and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

“We are looking forward to growing - in size, capability, scope, and diversity,” Smith said. “Keller Williams offers so many possibilities for real estate professionals, and we are excited to give more people opportunities to achieve their dreams through a career with ONEChicago.”

Krichbaum added, “After we attract agents, we want to make sure we give them the tools they need to succeed. Our role as leaders is to ensure each person who works here is able to make the best use of Keller Williams’ benefits to maximize their profits and potential.”

“Now is most exciting to be part of Keller Williams,” Zimmerman added. The company recently partnered with the premier education and training provider, Kaplan, Inc., to develop a new digital real estate school. With a commitment to providing more equitable opportunities in real estate, Keller Williams also offers numerous financial assistance programs that allow aspiring and existing agents to take classes through the online school.

“We are grateful to be in a position to expand and give our agents and customers what they need to succeed. Since we opened ONEChicago, we have had incredible leaders who have helped us grow and get to where we are now.”
