H&H Bagels Announces Reopening Of The Newly Renovated Upper West Side Location

April 04, 2022 // Franchising.com // NEW YORK, NY - H&H Bagels, an iconic New York City brand since 1972, has announced the reopening of its Upper West Side location after a nine-week remodeling and renovation project.

Located at 526 Columbus Avenue, the newly renovated location stands five blocks from the original Upper West Side location and will open to the public on April 4th. After opening its flagship store in 1972 and a second location in 1974 on the Upper East Side, H&H Bagels has expanded its presence over the years with new locations in high traffic areas such as JFK Airport, LaGuardia Airport, and most recently, Moynihan Train Hall at Penn Station.

The newly renovated space features an upgraded customer experience, accompanied by a new modern design. The location will feature the brand’s innovative fast-casual bagel concept, which allows customers to follow the preparation of their bagel sandwiches from start to finish. The front of house guest-facing assembly line will become the standard procedure throughout all H&H Bagels to improve the customer experience for all their guests. The Upper West Side location will stand as the franchise training facility.

“We’re excited to announce the reopening of the newly renovated Upper West Side location and welcome back our customers from far and near,” said Jay Rushin, Chief Executive Officer of H&H Bagels. “For 50 years, we have taken pride in making each and every visit illustrious and memorable for our guests. Our new customer service experience combined with our upcoming premium beverage program will meet the needs of our consumers through our continued focus on the highest quality products and improvements in each order’s time-efficiency and quality.”
