ATC Healthcare adds human resources director with multi-unit business experience

April 05, 2022 // Franchising.com // LAKE SUCCESS, NY - ATC Healthcare announced the appointment of Amanda Menzie, joining the company as senior director of human resources.

Menzie will spearhead the development of ATC Healthcare’s human resources goals and objectives, implementing and overseeing new franchise training for HR functions as well as coordinating ongoing franchise staff training needs across the U.S.

“I was drawn to ATC Healthcare’s mission of working to meet the ongoing needs of healthcare facilities throughout the pandemic,” said Menzie. “The company is in a period of tremendous growth, and I am prepared to help facilitate the onboarding and training of new franchisees that are ultimately providing care to those in need.”

With more than 25 years of experience, Menzie comes to ATC Healthcare from The IDEAL School of Manhattan where she served as the HR Director. Prior to her time at the independent school, Menzie was active in the retail space specifically working within large multi-unit organizations. Notably, she served as vice president of human resources at American retail company, Loehmann’s, and human resources director for North American locations at the British shirt-maker, Thomas Pink (LVMH). Menzie brings demonstrated success in devising strategies designed to strengthen a company’s hiring and training processes in order to retain key employees as well as overseeing internal performance management initiatives.

ATC Healthcare experienced consistent growth throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Unprecedented demand for qualified healthcare professionals, due to the continued workforce shortages, created a need for healthcare facilities to partner with staffing agencies to handle the increased patient volume.
